The Double-J Ureteral Stent is a classic indwelling drainage stent widely used in urology. Both ends adopt symmetrical J-shaped (pigtail) curled design, which can be firmly anchored in the renal pelvis and bladder respectively to effectively prevent stent migration and dislodgement. Manufactured from medical polymer with high biocompatibility, the stent features excellent flexibility, kink resistance and anti-incrustation performance. Multiple drainage side holes are evenly arranged on the tube body to ensure efficient urine drainage. Selected models are equipped with long-acting hydrophilic coating to reduce insertion friction, improve procedural smoothness and enhance post-operative patient comfort. The radiopaque body delivers clear fluoroscopic visibility for intra-operative positioning and post-procedural follow-up. It is mainly applied to relieve urinary tract obstruction, support ureter after surgery, drain urine and facilitate residual stone clearance, serving as an essential device for urinary calculi, strictures, tumors and various urological post-operative care.

Single Use OnlyThe Double-J Ureteral Stent is specially designed for the diagnosis and treatment of upper urinary tract diseases. With a hollow tubular structure and standard J-shaped curls at both ends, it realizes self-anchoring without additional fixation devices. Made of medical polyurethane (TPU) or medical-grade silicone, the tube body is soft and elastic, conforming to the natural curvature of the ureter and minimizing irritation to urinary tract mucosa. Continuous length markings on the stent and full-length radiopaque design enable accurate depth control during placement and convenient post-operative examination. Dense drainage side holes on the side wall form a multi-channel drainage system, effectively reducing the risk of lumen blockage and ensuring bidirectional urine drainage. An optional extraction string at the distal end simplifies post-operative removal. The surface hydrophilic coating lowers friction and adapts to multiple surgical approaches including endoscopy and retrograde insertion. Sterilized by ethylene oxide, this disposable sterile device provides a full range of specifications for adults and children, catering to complex clinical scenarios such as calculi surgery, ureteral stricture, tumor compression and hydronephrosis.
The product includes three main series: standard type, hydrophilic coated type and extraction string type with standard J-shaped curls at both ends. The full tube is radiopaque with continuous length markings. Sizes are measured in French (Fr), covering full specifications for pediatric and adult patients with various lengths to adapt to different ureter lengths. The entire device is sterilized with ethylene oxide, packed in individual sterile pouch and intended for single use.

Yes. Adopting classic double-J (pigtail) self-anchoring curls at both ends, the stent is locked in the renal pelvis and bladder respectively. Combined with the tube body fitting closely to the ureter wall, it resists migration and dislodgement during normal activities with excellent indwelling stability.
No. This is a single-use sterile medical device. Re-sterilization and reuse will cause material aging, coating damage and bacterial growth, greatly increasing risks such as urinary tract infection, mucosal injury and lumen occlusion. Reuse is strictly prohibited to ensure patient safety.
