Product Overview

This innovative dual angle cut unidirectional helical barbs, one end is fitted with surgical needle and the opposite end has pre welded locking loop. After suture passes through soft tissue, barbs anchor tissue for self retention without manual knot tying to maintain stable wound approximation. Made of absorbable copolymer monofilament, it retains tensile strength for approx. 21 critical healing days and undergoes full hydrolytic absorption within 180 days. Available in undyed clear and green, multiple USP sizes, needle geometries and suture lengths; standard box quantity is 12 individually sterile units. Indicated for soft tissue closure in general, bariatric, gynecologic, urologic and reconstructive plastic open/laparoscopic/robotic surgery. Not intended for fascial defect repair, vascular / bowel anastomosis, neurosurgery, ophthalmology or microsurgery. Single use EO ethylene-oxide sterilization; reprocessing is strictly prohibited.
